§ 15.1. Subdivision control.

  • Any subdivision control ordinance enacted by the City Council under authority of general law may provide for the more orderly development of subdivisions within the subdivision control jurisdiction of the City by requiring the construction of community service facilities, including water lines; sewer lines; street paving, curbing and guttering; and street drainage facilities in accordance with policies established by the City Council. To assure compliance with such requirements, the ordinance may require the posting of bond or such other method as will offer guarantee of compliance.
