§ 2-81. Bonds.

(a)

All officers and employees of the city who are required to be bonded shall post bond, with corporate surety, in amounts as specified by the council. All bond premiums shall be paid by the city.

(b)

The council may adopt a system of blanket faithful performance or honesty bonding as an alternative to individual bonds, subject to the provisions of G.S. 109-1 et seq.
