§ 2-2. Partisan election.

(a)

The state legislature enacted Session Law 2013-220 changing the method of election from nonpartisan plurality method to partisan elections for the city in 2013.

(b)

The mayor and city council are elected on a partisan basis in accordance with G.S. ch. 163 art. 24.
