§ 20-191. Penalty.

(a)

Violation of the provisions of this article or failure to comply with any of its requirements, including violations of conditions and safeguards established in connection with grants of variance or special exceptions, shall constitute a misdemeanor as provided by G.S. 14-4, and shall not be a violation of G.S. 14-4.

(b)

Any person who violates this article or fails to comply with any of its requirements shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished in accordance with section 1-7.

(c)

Each day such violation continues shall be considered a separate offense.

(d)

Nothing contained in this section shall prevent the city from taking such other lawful action as is necessary to prevent or remedy any violation.
